Tent Hill Lower State School

Our Values PDF Print E-mail
After many workshops and meetings it became apparent that the members of our school community shared many common values and that these values were considered to be an important part of daily school life.
To clearly identify the most important values, the parents, students and staff were given a list of values and asked to identify the most important values to the school community of Tent Hill Lower State School.
The most important values to our school community are:
Respect
Honesty
Doing Your Best
Responsibility
Understanding and Fairness
To make the values more ‘student friendly’ an acronym was developed and the accompanying logo designed. This value statement and acronym are now being used daily in the school.
BUDS
B.U.D.S.
Be Honest and Responsible
Use Respect
Do Your Best
Show Care, Understanding &
Fairness
