Our vision was launched in December 2007 and was developed as a result of several workshops and meetings over eighteen months (see the history section).
The vision is:
Each word in the vision is important and carries with it a background meaning and understanding. An explanation of the vision is as follows:
Growing
  • We live in an agricultural area – growing things
  • Growing is a nurturing word that suggests care.
  • The children are growing – physically, intellectually, emotionally.
Beautiful
  • Our school is in a beautiful setting.
  • We value creative, artistic and beautiful things.
  • We feel positive and inspired by beauty
Futures
  • We are preparing our children for their futures–for each individual child.
In theValley
  • Our school is situated in the Lockyer Valley.
Of Opportunities
  • Children who attend our school will be given many opportunities to succeed .
  • This includes academic,sporting, creative and social fields.
