Our vision was launched in December 2007 and was developed as a result of several workshops and meetings over eighteen months (see the history section).
The vision is:
Each word in the vision is important and carries with it a background meaning and understanding. An explanation of the vision is as follows:
Growing
- We live in an agricultural area – growing things
- Growing is a nurturing word that suggests care.
- The children are growing – physically, intellectually, emotionally.
Beautiful
- Our school is in a beautiful setting.
- We value creative, artistic and beautiful things.
- We feel positive and inspired by beauty
Futures
- We are preparing our children for their futures–for each individual child.
In theValley
- Our school is situated in the Lockyer Valley.
Of Opportunities
